It’s been a busy past few months for West Corporation. In November, the global communication solutions leader won a Cisco® Partner Summit Geographical Region award for Service Provider of the Year, Americas. Then West enhanced its Interactive Services unit with the acquisition of PhoneTree, a leading provider of automated calling and messaging services. Now Cisco has recognized West again. West’s Unified Communications Services branch was given the coveted Cisco® Powered Cisco Spark Service Provider award, making West the first provider to earn the accreditation and distinguishing it as having best-in-class expertise in Cisco’s collaboration platform, Cisco Spark.
According to Randy McGraw, senior vice president of technology and operational services for West’s Unified Communications Services, the accreditation solidifies his company’s position at the top of the UC marketplace.
In a release on the West website, McGraw said, “As the first Cisco partner to participate in the audit process to achieve the Cisco Powered Spark Service Provider designation, we feel this demonstrates our ability to lead in the marketplace, and reinforces the value we bring to our customers through operational expertise, architecture, process, delivery and back-end support.”
The Cisco Powered Cisco Spark Service Provider credit adds to West’s growing collection of Cisco Powered service designations, which include:
- Managed Business Communications
- Cisco Powered UC-as-a-Service Based on HCS
- Cisco Powered Contact Center as a Service based on HCS
- Master Collaboration Specialization
