Technology solutions provider Select Communications has acquired Lighthouse Conferencing, a Denver-area reseller of collaboration and conferencing services. The acquisition comes just 12 months after Select Communications acquired GCI Conferencing in 2018. Finalized on July 1, this latest acquisition sees the solution provider bolster its organization with the additions of Lighthouse Conferencing’s staff and customer base, solidifying the Austin-based company as one of the most experienced and innovative collaboration providers on the market.
Select Communications CEO Jerry Goldman describes the acquisition of Lighthouse Conferencing as the “the perfect marriage.”

The addition of Lighthouse Conferencing’s staff and portfolio enriches the solutions provider’s existing suite of conferencing and collaboration products. As a result, Select Communications customers benefit from added expertise and more robust solutions in the areas of webcasting and virtual events.
According to Lighthouse Conferencing Chief Event Officer Marc Gutman, his existing customers can expect two things from the acquisition process: broader solutions and exceptional quality of service.
“We see this as the next big investment into our business,” says Gutman. “Not only can we help our customers with conferencing, but now we can bundle in next-generation products for bandwidth and cybersecurity to create an end-to-end solution.”
Gutman joins the Select Communications executive advisory team and will immediately contribute to the company’s strategic direction and business development plans. However, he remains intimately involved in his relationships with existing Lighthouse Conferencing customers.
